Newcastle United are now favourites to sign Manchester United defender Phil Jones.
The 29-year-old is expected to leave United in the summer with two years left on his contract at Old Trafford.
Steve Bruce is a fan of Jones and the Magpies are now the bookmakers favourites to secure his signature, per the Northern Echo.
Toon are facing competition for Jones from Premier League rivals Southampton, West Ham United and Brighton.
Jones, who has 27 caps for England, has made just made eight appearances for United in two years.
