Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still has faith in Donny van de Beek.

The Dutchman has not played a significant role in United's opening two Premier League games.

After their win over Leeds and draw with Southampton, Solskjaer was asked whether van de Beek was in his plans, given he was an unused sub against the Saints during a 1-1 draw.

"Whenever you don't win a game you look at it but I always look at it as much when you win as well," Solskjaer said, per the Manchester Evening News.

"What could we have done differently.

"I thought Nemanja [Matic] was excellent, Antho [Martial] was close to scoring a goal but Jadon and Donny will be important for us."
