Fiorentina midfielder Gaetano Castrovilli is happy to be working with new coach Vincenzo Italiano.
The former Spezia boss has taken charge of the Viola this summer.
Castrovilli said: “As soon as I arrived in Florence, I felt positive sensations. It's Year Zero for all of us and I can't wait.
“I had already heard good things about Italiano, he has a style of football that I really like and which reflects what we saw with the Italy side. Hopefully, we can achieve great things together."
On helping Italy win the Euros, he also said: “I still can't believe what happened this summer. The group dynamic made a big difference, as we were men first and then players. It was a wonderful experience and the more experienced players taught us a lot. Despite their age, they were running around like crazy, so we youngsters could only watch, learn and try to imitate them."
