Barcelona president Joan Laporta says more signings could be made before the market.
In yesterday's address, Laporta did not shut the door on further signings in the market, although there must be more pay cuts and exits to make that happen.
“You all know the situation, we have to create space to bring more players in. If we free up four million, we can spend one and we'll see what happens. You're seeing the players who are counted on and who isn't and the team is working. The market doesn't shut until August 31 and many things can happen," said Laporta.
Barca coach Ronald Koeman has asked for a striker and a midfielder.
“Koeman knows players have to go out so that others can arrive," said the president. “What's important to me is that the squad is working well and the players we have are delivering."
