Dujon Sterling has agreed a new Chelsea contract ahead of his planned loan to the Championship.
Sterling, who has been with the club since the age of seven, has signed a two-year contract and will now join Blackpool on a season-long loan, per football.london.
The Blues also have an option to extend his contract by another year.
The wing-back had just twelve months remaining on his current contract.
Blackpool manager Neil Critchley was reportedly integral to getting the deal completed.
An England international at U16, U17, U19 and U20 levels, Sterling has also spent time on loan at Coventry City and Wigan Athletic.
