Jesus Vallejo is hopeful of a future with Real Madrid.
With both Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos having left the Spanish capital, Vallejo is now one of the club's four centre-backs.
"I have to return to Valdebebas once the Olympic Games finish and prepare for the season that starts in a week," Vallejo said from Tokyo. "My hope is to stay at Real Madrid, to do things well and to contribute to the team.
"Until the end of August, everyone knows that footballers always have their suitcases ready."
