Former Barcelona and Spain star Lobo Carrasco says PSG can be excited about landing Lionel Messi.
The released Barcelona star is in Paris today ahead of potentially signing with PSG.
Carrasco is close to Messi and his family and told L'Equipe: "Have you seen the Copa América? I've never seen him wrestle physically like he did. He looked like (Giorgio) Chiellini so much he gave himself physically! He was amazing. Athletically, he was very, very strong. I find Messi improving every year. Every year he brings something new to his football and football.
"If you ask the coaches, the players, they'll all tell you he's always the best. Thanks to his maturity, he knows better how to do his work, how to measure his efforts and there I know, as I have had his entourage, that he comes rested, relaxed, ready in his head despite what has happened.
"He said in his speech that he wanted to catch up with the number of titles won by Daniel Alves. He comes to lift the Eiffel Tower (laughs)!"
