New Manchester United pair Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho will start today against Wolves.

There's a debut for centre-back Varane, two weeks on from the completion of his transfer from Real Madrid, while Sancho makes his first start for the Reds after substitute appearances against Leeds and Southampton.

Victor Lindelof and Anthony Martial are the players to make way, while Daniel James also comes in for Nemanja Matic.

Edinson Cavani, who is yet to feature for United this season, is among the nine substitutes named by Solskjaer for today's Molineux test.

Man United XI: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Maguire (c), Shaw; Fred, Pogba; Sancho, Fernandes, James; Greenwood.

Substitutes: Heaton, Lindelof, Dalot, Mata, Lingard, Matic, van de Beek, Cavani, Martial.
