Chelsea fullback Davide Zappacosta is set to return to Atalanta.
Fiorentina had reportedly agreed a loan deal with the Blues for the 29-year-old.
However, Sky Sports Italia says Atalanta have offered to buy Zappacosta outright, which Chelsea would prefer.
Zappacosta will sign a four-year contract with the Bergamo club.
The Italian spent a season with Atalanta in 2011/12.
