MB: 1.42 mln people in Selangor have received two doses of Covid-19 shots

SHAH ALAM, Aug 3 — A total of 1.42 million individuals in Selangor or 30 per cent of the state population, have completed two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine as of today.

In a Facebook post today, Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari stated that a cumulative total of 4.78 million vaccine doses had been administered to the Selangor people via the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK).

An infographic shared on his post showed that 3.35 million people in Selangor, or 70.6 per cent of the state population, have received their first dose.

Amirudin said an additional 217,995 doses were delivered via the Selangor Vaccination Programme (Selvax).

Earlier today, the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) shared in an infographic on Twitter stating the recorded daily vaccination rate in Selangor on August 3 is at 98,153 out of the total 483,368 doses of vaccines administered nationwide.
