Leeds United and Crystal Palace are eyeing Dundee United youngster Kerr Smith.
The Daily Record says Palace and Leeds are in a race for Smith, who at just 16, has already made his senior debut.
Smith is reportedly already regarded as one of the brightest young prospects in the Scottish game and could help plug the gap left by the departing Oliver Casey at centre back in the Under-23s side.
Leeds have already been busy this summer in bolstering their options in Mark Jackson's side, with Amari Miller, Sean McGurk and Lewis Bate already making the move to Thorp Arch.
