Manchester United could be due a massive windfall if Chelsea land Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku.
United are reportedly still owed £47million by Inter Milan in Lukaku transfer payments, says the Daily Express.
And they could earn even more if the striker joins Chelsea this summer due to a sell-on clause they have.
Inter signed Lukaku for £73million in 2019 from United and agreed a deal to pay in instalments. But the Italian champions still have £47m left to pay.
Meanwhile, the Telegraph says when Lukaku left Old Trafford, a sell-on clause entitling United to four and five per cent of any future sale was included.
As such a £100m deal could see £5m going to United.
