Roma have released Javier Pastore from his contract.
The former Argentina international, capped 29 times, has agreed to terminate his deal after three seasons in Rome. He had been sidelined by management since the start of preseason.
Roma announced: “AS Roma announce they have reached an agreement for the consensual termination of Javier Pastore's contract.
“The whole club wishes Javier the best of luck for the future."
Pastore managed just 37 appearances for the club.
