Former Barcelona captain Lionel Messi is delighted with his move to PSG.
The Argentine great has signed a two-year contract with PSG and was presented to the local media today.
Messi said: “I'm very happy, you all know that my departure from Barcelona was hard because it's been many years, difficult to change after so long. I'm happy to be here, I really want to start training, I want it all to go quickly.
"I have been happy since day one. I want to start training, I want to discover my teammates and the staff, to start this new stage. I want to thank the president, Leonardo, for the way they have treated me from day one. How they made themselves available.
"Everything was very easy in such a short time, it was not easy to do things so well. I want to thank them, I am very happy to be here, I am hungry. I want to keep winning, that's why I come to this club, this is a very ambitious club.
"With this team and this staff, we can win everything, that's what I want, that's why I came, I hope we will do it. My arrival in Paris was madness. The reception was crazy. We are going to have a lot of fun here together, and we will fight for the goals. Thank you to PSG, to Leonardo, that everything starts quickly!"
