Atletico Madrid are closing on a deal for Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic.
Corriere dello Sport says Atletico and Fiorentina have settled on a €70m fee for the Serbia international.
Vlahovic is the priority of Atletico sporting director Andrea Berta, who sees in his youth and potential one of the great No9s of the future.
And his numbers support Berta's opinion: 21 goals in his first year as a first-choice starter at Fiorentina despite the poor level of the team, which finished in thirteenth position.
Fiorentina have been attempting to extend Vlahovic's deal this summer, with his contract running to 2023, however it now appears they're prepared to sell to Atletico.
