Burnley boss Sean Dyche is considering a bid for Lyon midfielder Maxwel Cornet.
The Sun says Dyche may try to meet Lyon's £15million valuation of Cornet.
Cornet has played 251 times for the Ligue 1 side since arriving from Metz in 2015.
And he has impressed during his time with the club, netting 51 times and assisting 29 more.
Another option is former Burnley winger Aaron Lennon, who has been training at Turf Moor and could yet get an offer to stay for the season.
