Tottenham Hotspur manager Nuno Espirito Santo says it is time to move on from the Harry Kane transfer saga.

The England captain has committed himself to Tottenham this season after previously desiring a summer transfer, with Manchester City the closest linked.

Kane scored twice in the 3-0 win over Pacos De Ferreira on Thursday, and Nuno insists his star striker has nothing to prove.

"I see Harry every day since he joined us, and he doesn't have to prove [anything] to anyone," said Nuno.

"He's committed - you can see.

"Everything that's happened is part of the past, let's move forward… I saw him today, at the end of the game, now it's time to recover. He's one more that will help us."
