Lucas Torreira is being pushed out of Arsenal.
Football.London reports Torreira had wanted to fight for his place at Arsenal, but was informed that he was not in manager Mikel Arteta's plans.
Torreira could now be set for another loan spell away from the Emirates, with Fiorentina ready to offer the Uruguayan a return to Italy.
Torreira joined Arsenal from Sampdoria in 2018 and quickly began to impress before eventually falling out of favour.
The midfielder spent the previous season on loan at Atletico Madrid, making 26 appearances as they went on to win the La Liga title.
