Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman admits he's sorry seeing Ilaix Moriba falling out with management.
The teenage midfielder has failed to reach terms over a new deal and is now set to be sold, with Chelsea, Manchester City and RB Leipzig all keen.
"I spoke to him two or three weeks ago, more as a person than as a trainer," Koeman said.
“His situation is terrible, he is only eighteen years old. He is the future of the club and I know the club loves him. My advice is that money is not the most important thing.
“The truth is I am disappointed in him and his agent. I believe more in football than in money.
"We cannot allow a player who has been trained here to try to profit from the fact that he only has a one-year contract left. That is a situation that we do not accept and our message is clear: if you don't want to extend, then you know that there are other solutions."
