Sport says the club legend was in attendance at the match in Vall d'en Bas.
Xavi was joined by members of his coaching staff from Al Sadd, the Qatari club he manages.
Barça B and Al Sadd are both spending preseason in the same part of Catalonia as they prepare for the new campaign.
During the electoral campaign earlier this year, Xavi came close to returning to Barça but remains at Al Sadd for now.
