Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is pushing management to close a deal for Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.
The Blues have offered €50m for Kounde, which has been turned down.
The latest is Sevilla are now demanding €70m to sell the France international.
For his part, Tuchel is desperate to see a deal struck and is internally pushing for the transfer to be completed.
The 22 year-old is staying on the margins, though is keen to see the move happen.
