Oliver Skipp is trying not to get carried away after a positive start to the season with Tottenham Hotspur.

The England U21 midfielder spent last season on loan at Norwich City.

He has started all three Premier League matches for Spurs so far this season, with the north London club sitting top with three victories.

Speaking to England Football, Skipp said: "The last few months have been a bit crazy.

"At the end of the season there was a massive high, winning the Championship title with Norwich, but the second-last game I had the injury.

"But in one way it was a blessing because it was the best time I could have done it because it was during off-season and I could get back fit for pretty much all of pre-season. Then I have managed to start the first three games of the season for Spurs in the Premier League so they are all positives really."

He added: "It is definitely different [this season] but I am not getting carried away because it is only three games and there is a lot more that I need to work on and keep improving to hopefully continue to get those minutes.

"It definitely feels like it has been a good start but I definitely need to keep improving and keep going."
