TAWAU: Vice-President of the Tawau Chinese Chamber of Commerce (TCCC), Tan Ying Shiee, urged the Education Ministry to postpone the re-opening of schools to January for the safety and health of teachers and students.
Although the tightened and updated standard operating procedures (SOPs) for schools have been announced by Education Minister Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin (pic), Tan said Oct 3 is not the right time to reopen schools due to high number of Covid-19 cases in Sabah.
