The father of PSG midfielder Ander Herrera admits a move to Barcelona was close.
Herrera left Manchester United for PSG over two years ago.
His father told L'Equipe: "At one point, Ander was in contact with Barça and, for various reasons, it did not did not happen.
"But he does not fail to never have worn the colors of one of the three greats of Spain because in his eyes, the biggest club in the country is Zaragoza, where he started."
This season, Herrera is one of the best performers for PSG, scoring four goals and producing two assists in 10 matches across all competitions.
