Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny says they were worthy 1-0 winners against Champions League opponents Chelsea.
For all their possession, the reigning European champions had one shot on target.
“We suffered at the start, but didn't really allow Chelsea any scoring opportunities, despite the fact they are one of the best teams in Europe," Szczesny told JTV.
“This was a victory earned with spirit, with character. We really enjoyed defending, sitting deep, allowing Chelsea to keep the ball, but constantly controlling every situation that developed."
It was this kind of digging deep and fighting for the result attitude that Max Allegri had been calling for all season.
