Foot Mercato says Istanbul Basaksehir are eager to sign James in the coming days.
The transfer window in Turkey is open until September 8th. James is under contract with Everton until 2022.
The midfielder appeared 26 times last season (six goals, nine assists). The Colombia international was brought to Everton by Carlo Ancelotti, who has since moved on to Real Madrid.
James is now available from Everton and could find an escape route to Istanbul Basaksehir.
