Inter Milan defender Matteo Darmian insists defeat to Real Madrid was undeserved.
Inter lost their opening Champions League group game 1-0 at San Siro stadium.
Darmian said: "I think it was an undeserved defeat as demonstrated. We are talking about a defeat in the 90th minute after a great performance by everyone. From the first minute we showed what we wanted, that is to win this match.
"We created a lot, putting in the right grit and determination. Unfortunately we conceded a goal that condemned us. The qualification? A match must not take away our certainties. If we play every Champions League match like tonight we will have no problems in hitting the qualification."
