Inter Milan hero Beppe Bergomi believes the team will improve in Europe this season under Simone Inzaghi.
The Serie A champions were bounced out at the group stage of the Champions League last season under former coach Antonio Conte.
But Bergomi told Calcio Today: "The Nerazzurri are in a complicated group but they have all the right cards to go through.
"Of course, we shouldn't take anything for granted because with Real Madrid and Shakhtar it won't be easy. Inter however, it is less predictable than last year and I am optimistic.
"In the Champions League we need more dribbling and quality in the plays, and I am of the opinion that Inter have increased their value from a technical point of view this year."
