Salomon Rondon has revealed how Everton coach Duncan Ferguson introduced him to his new teammates.
It was during his time at previous club West Brom that the now 31-year-old matched a Premier League record set by Ferguson himself.
Rondon told the Liverpool Echo: "Yeah, he said to the team: 'Hey guys, look here. The only two players to score a hat-trick of headers in the Premier League.
"I remember that moment, scoring three headers against Swansea and afterwards I found out that there were only two players to score a hat-trick of headers. It is a pleasure to be part of the history of the Premier League.
"Duncan said: 'Look, I am one and here's the other one'. He was joking [around] but it was fantastic."
