Liverpool are keen to secure Leeds United star Raphinha in the coming transfer windows, as he is a long term target for the club.

The Independent suggests the Reds have been on the trail of the Brazilian winger for the past five years.

Raphinha got a chance to show Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp his quality in person, as Leeds suffered a 3-0 defeat to the Reds on Sunday in the Premier League.

The outlet claims 24-year-old Raphinha is attracting interest from a host of top European clubs, and may have his pick of big teams to join in the coming seasons.

Despite speculation about his future in recent months, the former Rennes has shown no inclination to push for a quick exit from Leeds.
