Former Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi is set to return to Spain.
Having been in talks to join Torino, Radio Valencia Cadena Ser is reporting Mustafi is now on the brink of joining Levante.
The former Valencia defender is now set to return to the city to join their local rivals.
Mustafi joined Schalke in January after being released by Arsenal. He penned a short-term deal to June and was cut loose by Schalke after their relegation.
The Germany international now hopes to rebuild his career with Levante.
