Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta hailed captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after Sunday's win over Tottenham Hotspur.
The Gabon striker opened the scoring as the Gunners ran out 3-1 winners at the Emirates.
Arteta admitted he had asked for more from Aubameyang in recent weeks, and the Spaniard has been delighted with his response.
"I'm really happy with the performance today and the performance against Burnley and with what Auba is doing," Arteta said.
"He was getting criticised and we were asking him to do more. He stood by it and put his head down and he is working tremendously hard for the team, and now I can tell you that he is really giving."
