Real Madrid are ready to offer Takefusa Kubo a new contract.

The Japan international, currently on-loan with Real Mallorca, saw action in last night's defeat at Real Madrid.

Cadena SER says Real Madrid now want to extends Kubo's deal, which runs to 2024.

The 20 year-old midfielder is being lined up to be added to Real Madrid's squad next season. With Vinicius Junior set to secure an EU passport, a place will open up for Kubo.

The youngster has spent his first three seasons on the books at Real Madrid away on-loan.
