Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson could be sidelined until October.
The forward came off with a quad injury during Newcastle's disappointing 2-2 draw against Southampton before the international break.
Steve Bruce had hoped to have Wilson back in action by the end of September.
However, The Athletic reports the Englishman could miss another six weeks.
That means Bruce will be without his star striker for games against Tottenham, Crystal Palace and Chelsea.
