Wolves striker Raul Jimenez could not hide his delight at scoring the winning goal for his club against Southampton at St. Mary's Stadium on Sunday.

The Mexican was in the form of his life in the Premier League before a skull fracture sustained in a league game against Arsenal in November 2020.

He is now back to full fitness and bagged his first goal since the return, netting a superb solo effort after a long pass from Wolves goalkeeper José Sá.

"It felt really good," he said afterwards, per the BBC.

"I was fighting for it, working for it and I knew it was coming.

"I want to score in every game and all the team deserve it."
