Arsenal manager Arteta pleased with Saka in AFC Wimbledon victory
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was delighted with youngster Bukayo Saka after their 3-0 win over AFC Wimbledon.
The Gunners made comfortable work of the League One team, getting an early penalty in the first half, and then making the scoreline comfortable with two second half goals.
While he did not get on the scoresheet, Arteta was delighted with the impact Saka made as he builds up his fitness following a late start to the season.
Asked about Saka, Arteta told the club website: "He finished the game against Burnley [at the weekend] much better than he did the week before.
"Again, he was seeking minutes - he wanted to play some minutes to get some match fitness.
"Again, I think when he came on, he looked really strong."
