Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira was delighted with their 3-0 defeat of Tottenham.
Odsonne Edouard struck twice, with Wilfried Zaha also converting a penalty. Japhet Tanganga saw red for the visitors.
Vieira later said: "It was a really good team performance. We worked hard, we worked well, we created chances and I'm really pleased with the goals we scored. Taking the three points against a good Tottenham side is really good for us.
"At times we had some issues about the players they had in between the lines. Overall it was a really good team performance."
On Wilfried Zaha's performance, he said: "He was fantastic today. He worked well out of position when he got the ball at his feet. He was a huge inspiration from the team today."
On Chelsea loanee Conor Gallagher, Vieira continued: "Conor loves football. He's got a lot of energy and he would play well under any manager because of the passion he has for the game. The energy he is bringing to the team is fantastic."
On Odsonne Edouard scoring twice on his debut, added: "We knew he can score goals. He showed it when he was at Celtic but you will have to give Christian Benteke a lot of credit. He played well and then Edouard came on and scored the two goals. The team performance today is something I will highlight
"It's going to be challenging. The Premier League is really challenging. Since I've been here I am surrounded by people who have experience in the Premier League and lovely people. I have really good staff around. We are not going to get carried away because there is still a lot of work today. We will enjoy it because the players deserve that win then we will work again on Monday morning."
