Manchester United great Peter Schmeichel admits he regrets his time with Sporting CP.
Schmeichel left United after the 1999 Treble winning season to join the Portuguese giants.
But he confessed to The Times: "Looking back now, mentally, I wasn't in a place to make good decisions.
"I should have had people around me that I could talk to, who could have said the right things at the right time.
"I made my decision with the information I had, with the level of maturity I had."
