
Rangers great Ally McCoist has sung the praises of Leeds United defender Liam Cooper.
Cooper has been praised after he came off the bench to win his eighth Scotland cap on Saturday in the Tartan Army's 1-0 win over Moldova.
The defender played the full 90 minutes of Scotland's defeat to England's Euro 2020 semi-final opponents Denmark on Wednesday, before he joining the action against Moldova in the second half, with his side defending a narrow lead.
On co-commentary, Scottish legend, McCoist spoke glowingly about Cooper's display, with the Scots keeping the Moldovans at arms length. McCoist said, “Cooper's brilliant at that, marshalling the troops at the back, pushing them up."
