Norwich City midfielder Mathias Normann was pleased to make his Premier League debut in defeat to Watford.

Normann featured in the 3-1 reverse at Carrow Road.

He told VG: "There was a moment in the bus where I thought "oh s***, I'm going to play the Premier League". But when I entered the stadium and thought about the work ahead and what I should do, I was really very calm and looked forward to playing matches.

"I was quite clear that I could be shocked by the pace and intensity. I was very focused on clicking from the start and making it easy. It was two or three minutes after our goal where I felt that 'f***, it swings well'.

"There was a lot of running, but all in all it was fun to play at home and see the fans. I hate losing, so it's a little hard to enjoy an assist that does not mean s***.

"I'm still looking for a place to live, but it's a great club. I live very well."
