Jesse Lingard is set to play out his final year of his contract with Manchester United.
The market has closed with Lingard still with United.
The England international enjoyed a stunning loan spell with West Ham last term and many expected them to try and make the deal permanent.
However, the Hammers failed to lodge an acceptable bid, meaning he will remain at Old Trafford until January at least.
Lingard has just one season left on his contract at United, but reports have claimed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is happy for him to stay within the squad, although his opportunities could be limited.
