Brentford defender Pontus Jansson says Ivan Toney pushed Virgil van Dijk all night for their 3-3 draw with Liverpool.

Toney ensured it was an uncomfortable evening for the Reds' defender, who was unable to perform to his usual high standards.

Liverpool's blushes were spared late on in the match when Toney saw his goal ruled out for offside, which would have clinched victory for the Bees.

Reflecting on the battle between the duo after the match, Jansson told Sky Sports: "We have Ivan and he had a fight against probably the strongest defender in the world (Van Dijk), and I think he made it good."
