Olympique Marseille coach Jorge Sampaoli has praised the club's recruitment staff for delivering him Matteo Guendouzi.
On-loan for the season from Arsenal, Guendouzi's deal includes a permanent option and Sampaoli has made it clear the midfielder has already done enough to convince him to keep the Frenchman long-term.
La Provence says Sampaoli has confessed in private at being amazed by the performances of Guendouzi.
So far this season, the youngster has made five appearances, scoring once and producing one assist.
For their part, Arsenal are prepared to cut loose Guendouzi, despite his current form.
