Karim Benzema is urging Real Madrid to deal in Luka Modric.
The veteran midfielder, now 36, was outstanding in victory over Celta Vigo last night.
Modric's current deal runs to the end of the season and Benzema is eager to see him stay.
"What about Luka Modric? He is one of the best in the world in his position," said the striker, who struck a hat-trick in last night's 5-2 win.
"I hope he will be with us for years to come."
