Cedric Soares is confident of establishing himself at Arsenal.

Takehiro Tomiyasu's arrival from Bologna is expected to push Portuguese full-back Cedric back down the pecking order, having been given the nod to start in defeats to Chelsea and Manchester City.

However, the 30-year-old wants to remain at the club, says Football London.

The former Southampton defender is being linked with a move to Turkish side Fenerbahce, along with Sead Kolasinac.

Any deal involving the left-back is said to have broken down, and now Cedric has told the club he is not interested in joining Fenerbahce, where he would have lined-up alongside Mesut Ozil.
