Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois admits there's frustration after their 0-0 draw with Villarreal.

Courtois concedes it was two points dropped.

He stated, “We come away with a bit of a bitter taste. You always want to win your home games and whenever a direct rival loses, you're keen to pick up the three points. They're a side that play good football and are measured in their approach. We improved after the break, but didn't manage to reproduce the intensity levels we saw the other day against Mallorca.

"To have picked up a point is a disappointment. We didn't have many clear-cut chances and they had the clearer openings, but we ultimately kept a clean sheet, which is the most important thing. We've got to keep going.

“We prepared for the game in order to bring intensity and ensure they didn't have too much of the ball but they did very well in the first half. We were better after the break but it was tough to get the ball off them and create clear-cut chances."
