Manchester United veteran Nemanja Matic says it's important to have former players on the coaching staff.
Speaking to BT Sport, Matic said it's also important to have figures like manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Darren Fletcher and Michael Carrick on the club's coaching staff, as they all have experience of winning silverware in famous red shirt.
Fletcher is currently the United technical director, while Carrick is a first-team coach working alongside Solskjaer.
"It's always important to have them here because they already know what a player needs to do to win trophies," said veteran midfielder Matic.
"You can feel straight away in the changing room that they're positive, they know exactly what they have to say to young players."
