Juventus coach Max Allegri hailed the performance of matchwinner Fede Chiesa after their Champions League victory over Chelsea.
Chiesa struck the only goal of Wednesday night's game at Juventus stadium.
Allegri said, "He is absolutely not at 100 per cent and this was the first real time he has played as a centre-forward.
"I told Federico my evaluation, which is that he can play as a centre-forward or a support striker."
He also said: "Juventus must win games like this. To win these matches you have to suffer and want to achieve a result. Tonight the lads did it and, with respect to the European champions, Szczęsny didn't really have any great saves to make.
"Sailors always find the way out of a storm. Tonight was a good game against the European champions. Technically we could have played better but we suffered a bit and we missed a couple of counterattacks. Two games, six points, zero goals conceded, another step towards qualification, a good step forward ."
