Manchester United's board remain unmoved over the outside pressure growing on manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Solskjaer is facing increasing scrutiny in the light of their 1-0 loss to Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday.

That home reversal came just four days after they lost by the same scoreline to West Ham in the Carabao Cup.

Add a humbling 2-1 defeat to Young Boys in the Champions League and the Red Devils' good early season form now completely eludes them.

However, even with their indifferent form, ESPN claim that Old Trafford bosses remain adamant that Solskjaer is the man to bring United back to the summit of English and European football.

The 48-year-old was handed a new three-year contract during the summer window.
