Former Newcastle boss Sam Allardyce has questioned Liverpool's summer market work.

With only Ibrahima Konate signed, Allardyce said he was a little disappointed by Liverpool's summer business.

He was asked who he thinks has had the best window from the Premier League clubs.

"Think Chelsea, Man United looking at strengthening their squads and the quality of players," he said.

"Bit underwhelmed by Liverpool, Wijnaldum going and only one man coming in. They're basing it a lot on their injured players coming back but who's to say they won't have that injury crisis again and they've shown they can't cope with it."
